Yuge Sea Station

Welcome to The Yuge Sea Station

The heart of Yuge Island

A port of rest, renewal, and local connection.

On the quiet shores of Yuge Island, Sea Station stands as a gateway — for sailors arriving from the Seto Inland Sea, for cyclists riding the coastal roads, and for travelers seeking something slower, more grounded, more real.

This isn’t just a station. It’s a meeting place, a rest stop, a homebase for those passing through — and for those who’ve found themselves staying. Whether you’re docking for the night, catching your breath after a long ride, or simply looking for a deeper connection to Kamijima, Yuge Sea Station is here to support your journey.

What People Say

“This place was a welcome refuge for us to escape the heat and make plans for our bikepacking trip. A super welcoming place with friendly people (staff and locals), access to water, ice, toilets and boiling water. The staff were super helpful, with excellent english – in depth knowledge of the area with lots of helpful suggestions.”

Highly recommend stopping in here if you’re visiting Kamijima Islands – it would make a good first stop before exploring around as you can get a lot of good tips etc.
Staff kindly called the campground and a local restaurant to book us in as we couldn’t call on our phone plans, or speak Japanese.
